Maternity Photos

A quick baby update for everyone: we are still waiting on Vesper to arrive. I’m currently 40 weeks and 5 days. Everyone has been super sweet and encouraging with the texts and phone calls. She will come eventually- at least that’s what the doctor says. It’s been kind of hard to relax while waiting on her to arrive but we are trying our best. Each day that goes by I try to think of something special that happened to be grateful for. I keep thinking, maybe God wants to keep her in there so Fleet and I could get this last date together. Or maybe He wanted us to get to hear this sermon and get to worship just the two of us one more time. But today, as Fleet was walking through the house to help me visualize the length of a giant squid, I thought- we’re kind of running out of significance here. SOS baby girl please hurry.

A sweet surprise today was getting our maternity photos back from our friend Katie. I loved how they turned out! I’m so glad we got these photos to remember the last nine months. Even though this last week has been the hardest one of the whole pregnancy- looking back I REALLY enjoyed being pregnant and I especially enjoyed this time with Fleetwood. I’m so glad Vesper gets to have Fleet as her dad. He is so loving, patient, and fun. I’m excited to see him hold our little girl. It will be any day now. But if anyone wants to pray she comes TONIGHT, you are more than welcome :)
